Arrow of Slaying is bow launched missile available in both Baldur's Gate (game) and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and the Enhanced Editions.

Gameplay[]
The arrow is bestowed with a massive THAC0 bonus of 15 to hit a target.
These are categorized as magical items, and for all intents and purposes, they will behave like +1 weapons for the purposes of what they can strike.
The special feature of the arrow is to instantly slay Ogre Mage creatures, who get no saving throw and are instantly exposed to the Slay effect on a successful hit.
To other creatures the arrow deals 1d6 points of Missile damage. Due to its price, it would be an expensive ammunition to use upon anything else but an Ogre Mage.
The arrow's slay effect can be blocked by Magic resistance, although in an unmodified game the ogre mage doesn't have such protection, nor do any of their scripted spells provide any.
