enemies usually found in high-traffic areas, though these particular examples are likely part of the Black Talons mercenary group, during Baldur's Gate. Their selfish endeavors have made the Sword Coast a much less pleasant place, with the apparent goal of completely disrupting trade routes. They usually travel in large groups and fight with Long Swords and Shortbows, though their expertise with either is somewhat questionable.

Not only are they highly sought after by Gorion's Ward for role-play purposes, they also drop a relatively valuable trophy; Bandit Scalps. These may be sold to various junk merchants for 25gp each, or turned in to Officer Vai at the Jovial Juggler in Beregost for 50gp each after starting Baldur's Gate Chapter 3. They also stack up to 10, meaning each dedicated inventory slot is potentially worth 500gp.
