Calahan is a male human fisherman/smuggler who plays minor roles in Tales of the Sword Coast and Shadows of Amn.
Baldur's Gate[]
In Tales of the Sword Coast, Calahan is a fisherman in Ulgoth's Beard.

He will approach you after you talk with Mendas, but only if you replied to Mendas that "knowledge is a worthy pursuit" in your dialogue with him. For 20 
he will tell you that Mendas is missing the truth.

Baldur's Gate II[]
In Shadows of Amn, he is found on the island of Brynnlaw.
