Crom Faeyr is an enchanted war hammer +5, which means it's not affected by spells like Improved Mantle but is affected by Absolute Immunity and Protection From Magical Weapons. It raises the strength of the user to 25. The hammer is able to inflict 2D4 +3 + 5 electrical points of damage and has +5 bonus to thaco and a speed factor of 1. This warhammer has the ability to instantly slay Stone Golems, Clay Golems, Trolls and Ettins when hitting them. When used in combat, a wielder of this hammer can easily deal 20-30 points of damage, because it raises strength to 25. Critical hits with this weapon are between 50-65 points of damage (electrical damage not included).

This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and it's the most powerful war hammer. The hammer can be obtained if the Hammer of Thunderbolts, Hands of Takkok, Girdle of Frost Giant Strength and a Crom Faeyr Scroll are combined by Cromwell for 10,000 GP. This weapon is considered a good choice for clerics in parties and for warriors as well.

In-game description

This is the true name that the dwarven weaponsmith, Silverblade, gave to the weapon he intended to create for his son. Alas, his son died before the weapon was ever completed, but here it stands complete... forged from the combined magic of the original hammer with the Gauntlets of Ogre Power and a Girdle of Frost Giant Strength. Crom Faeyr gifts its users with all the powers of the original Hammer of Thunderbolts, in addition to enormous strength and the ability to kill golems, ettins and trolls in one blow.
