Dagger of the Star +4 is a weapon which deals 1d4 +4 points of damage and it has +4 THAC0 bonus, a weight of 1 lbs. and a speed factor of 0. Whenever it hits its target, there is a 5% chance that the wielder will turn invisible for 60 seconds. It's not known if the invisibility is undone if any hostile actions are taken before the effects runs out.
This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. It can be found in Watcher's Keep (dungeon) at the fourth floor at the east side. From there, you can access a room south of the area which leads to a small room with crypt guarded by a demi-lich, who casts the spell Imprisonment on party members during the fight. The crypt contains the dagger. This dagger can be upgraded by Cespenar, which requires 5 star sapphires and some gold. Carras in Amkethran sells 5 star sapphires if you are in need of them.

Dagger of the Star +5 deals 1d4 +5 point of damage after the upgrade and it has +5 thaco bonus. The chance to turn invisible is now 15% and there is a 5% chance this dagger deals 1d8 points of fire and electrical damage after each successful attack.
