Embarl's Dagger is an item needed to convince Mae'Var that Embarl has been killed by Gorion's Ward and party during the events of the side quest given by Renal Bloodscalp. Unlike a normal dagger, this weapon inflicts 1d6 instead 1d4 points of piercing damage. You can kill Embarl to gain this weapon and obey the orders of Mae'Var or ask him to hand over the dagger and spare his life.
