The Grave Binder +2, also known as Dagger +2, Longtooth, is very similar to Heart of the Golem, but this dagger is 1 lb. heavier, requires a Strength of 4 to wield, has a higher item value and deals 1d6+2 damage instead of 1d4+2.

Description[]

Discovered relatively recently by adventurers in the south, the abilities of this weapon went unknown for several years. Magic tomes eventually revealed its extensive history as an assassin's tool and it was dubbed the Grave Binder. It was stolen soon after.

In Baldur's Gate, this weapon belongs to the Small Swords profiency type, which is replaced by the Dagger proficiency in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.

Location[]

Baldur's Gate and the Enhanced Edition[]

Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition[]

May be given by Genie in plane of air in Irenicus's Dungeon if Charname has dagger proficiency.

Obtainable during Neera's Hidden Refuge quest.

Bugs[]

As of BG2EE 2.6, The Longtooth dagger is described as exceptionally long and uses a short sword animation, but the range was still that of a dagger. This is identified for correction in the pending Enhanced Edition Fix Pack (EEFP). Ref: (dagg04.itm)
