For helmets in Baldur's Gate II and its expansions, see Basic Helmets (Baldur's Gate II).

There are five basic helmets found in the game. They all weight 2 lbs, protect against critical hits, are non-magical, and have a unique look. Bards, kensaimages, sorcerers and thieves can't wear helmets. The horned helmet is for sale at many shops, while the other helmets are worn by specific NPCs. The value of a helmet is between 1-5 gold pieces.
