Mace +1 is an enchanted weapon. Compared to a normal mace, it has speed factor which is one point lower, weighs a bit less, and has +1 bonus to damage and THAC0. Also this weapon can harm enemies immune to normal weapons, because it's enhanced. It falls in the mace proficiency, except in the original Baldur's Gate, where it's in blunt weapons proficiency instead.
