Bhaal had three avatar forms: a shape-shifting one called Kazgoroth, a human-sized one called the Slayer, and a giant called The Ravager.
You'll encounter slayers – true neutral in the original Throne of Bhaal, lawful evil in the Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition –, sometimes Slayer Shadows, on the Pocket Plane, as well as during major boss fights. They have different stats from Gorion's Ward's Slayer Form.
