This article is a Fire Giants are large, powerful creatures typically encountered in hot climates, especially near volcanoes. Standing roughly twice as tall as a human (if not more), they can pose a serious threat to those unprepared to deal with them.
They are first encountered in Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, but one can be fought in the Black Pits in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition.
