Flasher Launcher is a light crossbow which can only be used by Jan Jansen, who also invented and crafted it. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.

Gameplay[]
It can fire all normal and enchanted bolts available in the game, like any other crossbow.
It can be used by Jan as long as he has at least an 8-strength attribute.
The launcher has a speed factor of three, a THAC0 bonus of -1 and it weighs 10 lbs.

Jan's Flasher Master Bruiser Mate ammunition can also be fired from any game crossbow. There is no requirement to use the Flasher launcher to fire those projectiles.
