Garan is a mage, who on his teleport trip from Maztica to Waterdeep got trapped on the Ice Island in Tales of the Sword Coast.
Garan insists in being the one who poses the questions here, and has little patience with ignorant or joking people. No matter how the conversation with him is made – in the end he will always become hostile, not without summoning his four "pet" Ankhegs.
Gameplay
- Besides the additional threat of the four creatures, Garan's art of spellcasting is very similar to that of the three Fighter / Mages here: Beyn, Cuchol and Dezkiel.
Trivia
- In Tales of the Sword Coast the creature file in fact has "Unknown" assigned as gender/sex, though the animation is that of a male human thief.
- Garan has an NPC ring (MAGE03.itm) equipped, that would create eight mirror images if it wasn't buggy.
