Interplay Entertainment is a US-American video game development studio and publisher, founded in 1982 under the name Interplay Productions by Brian Fargo, Troy Worrel, Jay Patel and Bill Heineman.
Black IsleEditBlack Isle Studios is the name of the devision that published the original Baldur's Gate series. It was founded in 1996 by Feargus Urquhart. They were also producing Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound, which was cancled before realization.
The studio was closed in December 2003.
