The Mace of Disruption is an enchanted mace +1. It has a -1 THAC0 bonus, deals 1d6+2 points of damage to non-undead. Against undead, it deals double the damage (2d6+4 points). Additionally, if an undead fails to make a saving throw with a -4 penalty, the undead will be destroyed.
By taking the Mace of Disruption and the illithium ore to Cromwell, he can upgrade it for the price of 7500. The upgraded Mace of Disruption is a +2 Mace with increased bonus damage (+4 vs. undead, +3 vs. anything else) and which grants immunity to Level Drain, in addition to retaining its ability to instantly slay the undead.
- In Chapter 3, this weapon can be found in the pool of blood close to the coffins of three vampires in Bodhi's Lair underneath the Athkatla Graveyard
