Poisoned Throwing Daggers are used in ranged combat. They can be thrown from 30 feet way at a target and two can be thrown every round (6 seconds real-life time). They inflict 1d4 points of missile damage and every second 2 points of poison damage, which lasts 10 seconds. In every weapon slot, 10 of these daggers can be equipped. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. It is sold by Arledrian in Gaelan Bayle's home and by Maheer in Waukeen's Promenade.

In-game descriptionEdit

The typical throwing dagger has a pointed, usually double-edged blade, as opposed to a knife, which has a single edge and is a bit shorter than the dagger. Unlike a dagger, this one has a smaller handle and is balanced perfectly. A thin coating of poison has been applied to each poisoned throwing dagger, making it a lethal tool in the hands of trained assassins.
