Quenash is a prostitute who was a favored consort of an elven mercenary named Vail before he was petrified during an attempted breakin some years ago of the mage Ramaziths home. Before Vail pulled this assault, he gave her the Cloak of Balduran, an item as dear to him as the Helm of Balduran.

Quests[]

  • Searching for Balduran's Helmet
    • Upon locating the petrified statues in Felonius Gist's Manor and reviving the statue of Vail, if you choose the right dialogue option when talking to him, he will give up the Cloak of Balduran in exchange for letting him keep the Helm of Balduran.

I am ... relieved. Do not think you will go away empty-handed for your compassion. I... I will give up another item nearly as dear to me. Perhaps the two should not be separated, but you have done well by me. The Cloak of Balduran is with a favored consort of mine in the Underceller. Quenash is her name. Go there and she will give it to you. She will know I sent you. Now please leave me.

— Vail

Gameplay[]

After Vail has revealed that the Cloak of Balduran is in Quenash's possession, she can be convinced to relinquish it. With a reaction result of 8 or higher, she can be convinced to talk about the Helm of Balduran as well. The correct dialogue options to get the cloak and the hint to the whereabouts of the helm are 3–6–2–1.

If Vail was not let go, she can't be talked to about the cloak even though a letter on Vail's body reveals that she has it. She can however be pick-pocketed for it (with a minimum of 50% pick-pocketing skill) or killed. The easiest way to have her killed without reputation loss is to charm her and make her attack a guard.
