This spell creates glowing gem that has to be quickly thrown at opponent as it becomes to hot to hold. Caster cannot give gem to anyone else to throw. Priest gains +3 bonus to attack roll for throwing Orb and doesn't suffer weapon proficiency penalty. Gem can be used to strike any creature even one that can be hit only by magical weapons.
Successful strike deals 6d6 fire damage to the target and blinds it for 1d6 rounds. Successful save vs. spell halves damage and negates blinding effect. Damage and duration are doubled against the undead.
