This article is a Solaufein is a male drow located in Ust Natha in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. He is involved in several quests in connection with Chapter 5's main plot of escaping the Underdark. He has a complicated relationship with Phaere, and she will give the party a quest to kill him. This does not have to be carried out, and he can instead be spoken to to get his cloak to give to Phaere as evidence of his death. If he is not killed, he will later give the party a set of Fake Dragon Eggs which are useful in deceiving Phaere and escaping Ust Natha without combat.
