The Sword of Chaos +2, also known as Sarevok's Sword +2, is an enchanted two handed sword that can be found in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn and the equivalent stages of Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. It can inflict 1d10 +2 points of damage and every hit drains 1 hitpoint from the target and transfer it to the wielder of this weapon, but not above max hitpoints. It weighs 10 lbs., has a speed factor of 8 and gives the wielder a bonus to THAC0 of -2.
Acqusition
This weapon, purportedly the one wielded by Sarevok Anchev during the events of Baldur's Gate, can be found in Irenicus' Dungeon, where it is the reward for bringing the Genie's Flask to the enslaved Genie in the Plane of Air.
In a game with the Ascension mod installed, keeping the Sword of Chaos +2 through the events of Shadows of Amn and then giving it to Sarevok after restoring him in Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal will modify the weapon into the Sword of Chaos +4.
