Sylvan Chain is an enchanted elven chain mail +2 which offers an armor class of 3. Like normal elven chain mail, it has -2 bonus to slashing attacks (AC 1) and +2 penalty to piercing attacks (AC5). It also has some penalties to Thieving Abilities. This item appears in Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. It's dropped by Illasera when she is killed.
