The Dead Shot, also known as the Longbow of Marksmanship, is an enchanted longbow in Baldur's Gate.
It offers a THAC0 bonus of 3 to the user and will add a damage of 2 to the arrows shot from it with a speed of 5.
- Used by and then looted from Hakt, a Hobgoblin guarding Tazok's Tent in the Bandit Camp (Baldur's Gate Chapter 3)
- Can be stolen from a Ghost Knight in the Firewine Ruins (the fourth from the left)

- In the original Baldur's Gate, the bow itself is not enchanted, as Protection From Normal Weapons wasn't implemented in that game. This was changed with the original Shadows of Amn and carried over into the Enhanced Editions. However, the item cannot be obtained via normal ways in the second part of the saga and is only contained in the game files.
