“ | Oh yes, darling, they are MOST standoffish.[1] | ” |
Thurston's wife[2] is a noblewoman and together with her husband, who often refers to her as "Lovey", visiting Candlekeep. The wealthy couple stands at the fireplace on the ground floor of the Candlekeep Inn during the Prologue of Baldur's Gate.
Involvement[]
Though she would "much prefer it" to be left alone[3] if addressed, she does not feel exactly like this when conversation is made with her "darling" instead, and has several things to note in that case.
She admits, however, that she finds one "lovely" if charmed:
“ | Oh! Though I find you quite lovely, I don't think Thurston would really want me cavorting with strangers.[2] | ” |
Notes[]
- Killing her, usually results in reputation loss, but her husband will not turn hostile then.
